Map the movements in a sewing session
List the places used for cutting, sewing, pressing and storing pieces. Sketch how you move between them during a familiar project.
Look for repeated awkward reaches and blocked routes. Keep cords and stored materials out of walkways, and follow equipment instructions for clearances.
Change one part of the arrangement and try it. A small improvement to a frequently repeated movement can be more useful than replacing every storage unit.
